The photo to the right is the patio view from one of the cabins at this incredible retreat center.  It is surrounded by it’s own soothing stream, comfortable cabins with kitchenettes, outdoor heated massage area, and acres of walking trails with unbelievable views.

Meals: Chef prepared, whole food, organic, AIP friendly, and can accommodate plant based. If there are food allergies or other special restrictions,  you must alert us prior to the program so you can be accommodated. All dishes will be organic and free from gluten, dairy, soy, eggs, corn, GMOs, processed sugars, and other nonsense.

Pre-work: Intake forms due 2 weeks prior to program beginning.

Accommodations: Lodging and travel to and from Sedona is the responsibility of the attendee. Cabins at the Briar Patch range from $150 to $350 per person, per night depending on number of guests per room, number of rooms, type of cabin, type of kitchen in room, and availability. You may request to be paired up with a roommate to help offset room rates. We will do our best to pair you up with another attendee or you can room with a friend who is attending the retreat.

You may also choose to stay at any of the surrounding hotels, motels, or bed & breakfast locations.

There is limited space for this exclusive, invite-only event. It is purposely kept to a small group so you get the most impact from the experience!

Kirstin Carey, Certified Holistic Nutritionist is the original “Freak at the Table.” She loves to enlighten people on the joys of food, health, and nutrition, and finding which foods work best for their bodies, their goals, and their lives!

After discovering she had food allergies and Celiac Disease, Kirstin’s threw everything she had into learning about true wellness through food and all her (seemingly) random health issues finally made sense! She closed her successful consulting company and opened Nourish™, a gluten-free soy-free restaurant that focuses on delicious dishes to help people optimize their mind, body, and soul.

When she’s not working with food, speaking to groups about holistic nutrition and health, or managing Nourish™, you can usually find Kirstin with her dogs Holly, Olive, and Roxy or with her husband Anthony.

Kirstin CareyAnthony DiNobile

Anthony DiNobile, BCHN, Certified Nutritional Microscopist, Certified Personal Trainer, and competitive vegan bodybuilder loves to work with people on total wellness.

Quite the master in the kitchen as well as an expert in labs and supplements, Anthony has created many of his own recipes to help vegan body builders maximize their calories and increase their protein intake without animal protein. He works with his vegan and non vegan clients to find the best food choices for their specific needs and goals and will also couple this with the perfect workout to round out their needs.

In his off hours, you’ll find Anthony riding his Ducati 996 or hanging with canine pack: Holly, Olive, Roxy and Vera or wife Kirstin, also a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and owner of Nourish restaurant.

Mary Taylor

Chef Mary is a CHN and manages the Nourish kitchen for the Gilbert Wellness Center Cafe and prepared meal plan customers. Mary creates healthy dishes and recipes focused on lowering inflammation and healing from the damage done by autoimmune conditions.

Briana Boldin

Briana works on the back end to help support the Nourish team with their work, and the Nourish community with any questions they have or tech issues they encounter. She is also a RYT and shares the Nourish team’s passion for healing after overcoming her own issues with chronic pain and autoimmune illness.
